Pat- thank you! Thanks for the quick intel! I did the math:
VH I- 4
VH-II-5
W&CF-2
DD-1
FW-2
1984-4
ADKOT- 4
Not too shabby I'm a little surprised that VH II is being represented so much...not complaining by the way! I think it has to do with Dave's vocal range now-a-days. Everyone has their own "perfect" setlist...how does this setlist compare to yours? I'd give it a strong NINE. Only because my "perfect setlist" was not played. |

Could have contained more from "A Different Kind of Truth". However, with "Outta Love" on the setlist, I'm not complaining!
This is going to rock! |

| I think theres a good mix of the catalog in this list. The old fan, the casual fan and the newbie. |

| No way Bullethead ever makes it onto the set list. Weakest song on the new album IMO. As for the opening night set list - I dig it. Got all the big hits, a handful of new songs, and a few of old b-sides that will keep the die hards happy. I'm hoping they take the songs like outta love and women in love and rotate them with some other lesser played songs along the way. |

Id go for that. I just think Atomic Punk deserves a spot. |

| I just liked the roy rodgers (trigger horse) sound on bullethead that EVH did.. I just guessed he was proud of that tinker sound and put it on there.. it (Also) had a good new pinky finger harmonic pull off thingy never heard before on an album since (Somebody get me a doctor).. I thought he did really good on the new re- vamped solos.. I think they will add it as it was an old fav they did at early shows.. I did wish Ed would of done the (Elephant) sound on one of the new songs.. that would of made my day.. However--He did do some new never before (effects) heard by him on other songs (Honeybabysweetiedoll) This will end up on the list too before it is over with.. I am a VH ED expert.. he haw |

Very good setlist last night...but I honestly think if they played Girl Gone Bad...the hardcore fans would riot the arena |

I have to disagree there. I'm probably in the minority here, but Atomic Punk never really did much for me. Seeing that the set from last tour had to be changed to at least include some new songs, Atomic Punk would have been one of the first that I would cut. I don't think enough casual fans know it well enough to justify keeping it over any of the hits. |
